Movie description
Italian exploitation filmmaker Massimo Dallamano wrote the script to
VIRGIN TERROR (ENIGMA ROSSO, aka RED RINGS OF FEAR) to complete his
series of "schoolgirl giallos" (Italian mystery-crime films with a
horror undertone). When the mutilated body of a teenage girl is found,
Det. Di Salvo is called in to investigate. He learns that the girl was
part of a group of friends called "the inseparables," and begins to
question the surviving three members of the quartet. But when they
begin to receive death threats from a mysterious figure known only as
"Nemesis," Di Salvo must race to find the killer before group of
friends are all murdered. VIRGIN TERROR combines the gore, mystery, and
titillation fans have come to expect from giallo films.
