Perhaps because shy
restaurant dishwasher Alec Clark (Kyle Rankin) lives with his senile
grandmother, he doesn't have much luck finding dates. So when a
co-worker sets him up with outspoken waitress Kate (Mary Skinner), he
gladly accepts. But at one point during the evening, a casual comment
sends Alec into an emotional meltdown -- and he responds by tying Kate
to a chair and keeping her prisoner in his basement.
