New Adwords Strategy

OK, now that we have all of this inventory we need to start making sells. And, I understand my valued sellers wont stick around unless they make sells.

My plan which you can help with. I am going to target our categories and some stores (if they have a majority of the products in one category). I noticed that using adwords to target words like Auction, Buy And Sell, Fee free, and the likes is very expensive and does not yield great results.

I am going to start making ads that target products and categories of products. Say for example I use dragons. I would design an ad and use a keyword list that would attract dragon lovers. The ad wouldn't necessarily try to sell them it would invite them to come look at the dragons here on bidjunk.

For those of you who are worried your stores are not focused on one category No PROBLEM. I will also be using the search function for landing pages as well. This way everyone will be benefited from this campaign.

Now the fun part. If you want to help me you can by helping design attractive TEXT ads. You can also help find keywords, and I dont mind if your campaign is strictly about your store. Just makes sure you ad your link in the post as well. Remember that the point of the ad is not to make the sell, but get the people to your auctions. They dont have to realize they are coming to an auction site until they are here.

My goal is to get the ads and keyword tweaked just right so we are always bringing in traffic with the minimum bid of .05. This is doable if we think outside the box with our ads and what keywords we target.
